BIRMINGHAM', and '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip actions, the toplevers engraved '1' and '2', manual safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, border engraving, slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, No.1 with some external pitting, 14 7/8in. stocks (no.1 cracked at hand) , weight 6lb. 6oz., in their brass-cornered leather case
